Sacred Sovereignty: Creating Space for Your Spiritual Authority
Life transitions have a way of shaking us loose—pulling up our roots, blurring our sense of identity, and scattering what once felt solid. For me, my divorce was one of those moments. I had to rebuild—not just the logistics of daily life but the deeper sense of who I was and what I stood for. In that process, two things became essential: reclaiming my spiritual sovereignty and creating sacred space to support it.
At first, I didn’t have words for it. I just knew I was tired of feeling like I was floating in someone else’s narrative. I wanted to feel grounded in my truth. I wanted my physical surroundings to reflect the person I was becoming—not the one I had outgrown. For years, I kept parts of myself tucked away—not because I didn’t love those parts, but because they weren’t seen, supported, or even cared to be understood. My altar, my connection to the Divine Feminine, my crystals and cards—all of it stayed behind closed doors. But after the divorce, something shifted. I no longer felt the need to hide. Instead, I began reclaiming space—first in my home, and now, through Aruna, in a space all its own.
That’s where these two concepts—spiritual sovereignty and sacred space—came alive for me.
Reclaiming Your Spiritual Authority
Spiritual sovereignty is a quiet but powerful thing. It’s that inner authority that reminds you that you get to decide what’s true for you. After my divorce, I realized just how much I had given away—my voice, my power, my inner knowing. Astrology helped me see that this wasn't a failure, but a turning point. My chart showed me the deeper meaning behind the breakdown, and for the first time in a long time, I felt seen—by the cosmos and by myself.
The difference between external validation and internal truth became crystal clear. I stopped asking, “What do they think?” and started asking, “What feels aligned for me?”
That shift didn’t happen overnight, but it was the beginning of something sacred.
Creating Sacred Space as a Reflection of Self
Not long ago, I pulled a card that said simply: Walk your talk. The timing couldn’t have been better. I had just started moving into a new space—my first office outside of my home, a space fully dedicated to Aruna and the work I offer. It wasn’t just about the furniture or the decor. It was about what that space represented.
It was a declaration: I trust myself. I believe in my purpose. I’m making room for it.
This new office is an extension of the sanctuary I’ve spent the past year creating in my home. No more tucking away the parts of me that feel “too much” or “too out there.” My spaces now reflect all of me—unapologetically spiritual, intuitive, and grounded in purpose. It’s a powerful feeling to let your environment align with your truth.
Creating sacred space—whether a room, a corner, or a ritual—is an act of devotion to your growth. It becomes a mirror for your energy, a place that says, “You belong here. You are held.”
If you're in a season of transition, I invite you to start small. Light a candle with intention. Set up a journal in a cozy corner. Place a stone or a symbol that grounds you on your desk. It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be yours.
Living Your Truth, One Step at a Time
Sovereignty isn’t just a concept. It’s a daily practice. It shows up in how we speak to ourselves, in the choices we make, and in how we care for our own energy. For me, it’s found in the rituals I’ve reclaimed, the lunar rhythms I follow, the way I honor my cycles, and the way I now serve others from a place of alignment.
I’ve always guided from a place of connection, not hierarchy. My work is grounded in shared experience and mutual respect. When I sit with a client, I’m not just reading a chart. I’m holding space for their reclamation. I’m witnessing their return to themselves.
That’s what sovereignty looks like in practice: not needing to prove your worth, just embodying it.
Reflection & Invitation
If you're navigating your own transition—whether it’s divorce, a move, a career change, or simply the quiet shift of your soul—I invite you to ask:
Where have I given my power away?
What kind of space (inner or outer) do I need right now?
What does sovereignty mean to me today?
You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just begin. One truth at a time. One sacred space at a time. And let it unfold from there.
This is the heart of what I hold through Aruna: a sanctuary for women reclaiming their power and rewriting their stories. If you're ready to explore your own path of spiritual sovereignty, I’d love to support you.
